Dawson Creek RCMP were able to recover some stolen heavy equipment that made its way to the city from Alberta - using GPS.
On Tuesday (August 14), Beaverlodge RCMP asked Dawson Creek RCMP for help, as two skid steers were taken sometime overnight.
The GPS revealed the equipment was in fact in the Dawson Creek area.
Police found the yellow skid steers that matched the description of the stolen items, along with four pick-up trucks, and other suspected stolen property.
Two men, who are known to police, were arrested and remain in custody.
The investigation is ongoing.
