Former Chetwynd Fire Chief Dies at 67

Leo Sabulsky, who served as Fire Chief for the District of Chetwynd for 25 years, has died.

He passed away on July 10 after a battle with cancer.

He was 67-years-old.

Sabulsky joined the Chetwynd Volunteer Fire Department when he moved to town in 1977, taking over as Chief in 1994.

He retired from the Fire Department in June.

Sabulsky is also credited with founding Peace FM and CHET TV.
