At 7:45 yesterday morning, Fort St. John RCMP received a call for a pedestrian struck on 86th Street at 85th Avenue.

We now know that a boy was crossing 86th Street when he was struck by a southbound Chevy Silverado.

The boy sustained serious, but not life threatening, injuries and was taken to Fort St. John Regional Hospital by ambulance.
