Dawson Creek Children honored through play on National Child day

Some young children in Dawson Creek got the chance to play games , jump around and just be kids at the annual Success by Six and Children's First Festival held at the Dawson Creek Mall on Tuesday. The event is put on every year in honour of National Child Day.

" National Child's day is a big celebration all accross Canada and throughout the world that celebrates children and the rights of children in our communities", said Johanna Martens , regional coordinator for Success by Six and Children First Dawson Creek. 

This is the sixth year the Festival has occurred in the city. Children and Parents got the chance to play with different kinds of toys, make things out of Play Doh and interact with other parents and children 

" There's a whole bunch of bouncy castles , activities, tables set up, food and  snacks a  whole bunch of good stuff " , said Johanna Martens regional coordinator for Success by Six and Children First Dawson Creek.


This is the sixth year the festival has occurred in the city.
