Charges laid in Grande Prairie RCMP drugs and weapons bust

Grande Prairie RCMP have charged four people with multiple drug and weapons charges following a search at a hotel. 

On Monday July 29, at around 10:30 a.m., police searched a hotel in Grande Prairie. 

During the search, RCMP say they siezed approximately 43 grams of Cocaine, 60 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine, 51 grams of Cannabis and 0.74 g of Fentanyl. 

Smaller amounts of heroin and mushroom pills were recovered as well. 

 Police also located a loaded 9mm hand gun, a pellet gun, and brass knuckles.

RCMP have laid multiple drug and weapons charges to a 31-year-old man, a 35-year-old man, and a 22-year-old woman, all of Grande Prairie. A 36-year-old Canmore man has also been charged. 

RCMP say the 35-year-old man, 36-year-old man, and the-22 year-old woman are scheduled to appear in a court later today. 

The 31-year-old man is scheduled for a court appearence on August 7.
