As about 559 wildfires continue to burn British Columbia forests, the provincial government has declared a state of emergency.
The Canadian Red Cross is launching an appeal for donation for people in communities affected by the raging wildfires.
The organization has partnered with the Province, local authorities and First Nations leadership to assist residents impacted by the blazes.
Those who are looking to make a donation can do so online at www dot red-cross dot c-a, by calling 1-800-418-1111, or by visiting your local Red Cross office.
