UPDATE: Suspicious Device in Vacant Fort Nelson Mobile Home

Breaking news out of Fort Nelson, B.C..
The Northern Rockies RCMP detachment were alerted to a suspicious device located in a vacant mobile home on 51st Avenue in Fort Nelson.
The B.C. RCMP Explosive Disposal Unit also responded to the scene and secured the device.  
Both units are currently working together to render the device safe.
At this time, through investigation and searches, no other devices have been found.
Residents in the area were asked to evacuate until the premise is deemed safe and secure. 
Currently, the area remains cordoned off, as the RCMP awaits for E.D.U. to arrive and make a determination on what next steps are.
The Northern Rockies RCMP detachment are asking the public for any information about this device, including who may have been staying in the vacant home. 
This situation is still unfolding and the public is being asked to avoid the area until it has been resolved.
