Beaverlodge RCMP are investigating the deaths of two adult males.
On May 17, 2019, officers were advised a male was dropped off at the hospital, suffering from serious injuries, at around 2:45 a.m. in the morning.
The parties who brought the injured male to the hospital remained on scene while the victim received treatment.
However, 48-year-old Derrick Ferguson was pronounced dead at hospital.
Later that morning, Beaverlodge RCMP were called to a home on the Horse Lake First Nation - where they found a male with severe injuries.
EMS responded, but 28-year-old Warren Lonnie Laboucan succumbed to his injuries.
Autopsies on both determined the deaths were homicides.
The investigation is on-going and RCMP believe these incidents are related.
