A 23-year-old man has died, following a collision that took place between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 18.

Cpl Chad Neustaeter with the Fort St. John RCMP says a motorcycle failed to negotiate a curve in the highway, resulting in the single-vehicle crash, but it is not known what caused the driver to lose control. The 23-year-old driver was taken to the Fort St. John hospital, but died from his injuries. The rcmp say they are hoping to speak to any witnesses that have not yet spoken with them.

Anyone with information is asked to phone the Fort St. John detachment at 250-787-8100.
